Why I failed at #365 and What’s Next

I love the taking and posting a picture every day thing—-and I’m quite envious of the dedicated folks I know who manager to do it every single day. I can’t seem to quite dedicate myself to it just yet, which is discouraging. I really was happy with my early results, but felt bad when I wasn’t able to keep up.

On the plus side, one of the most enjoyable parts for me was finding a picture that was special or significant to me, or otherwise interesting, and adding a blurb about it and sharing that. To that end, I do think I’m going to continue to post a “Picture of the Day.” It probably won’t happen every day, but I want it to happen several times a week. Instead of pictures that I take currently, it can come from anywhere in my archives, but it will always been a picture I’ve taken.

Life’s a lot more fun when you can make the rules, right?
